Memories of times

Life is full of wonderful surprises and blessings. Unless it is captured and treasured they will be lost in the sand of time. The greatest joy is to be able to share precious memories of time together as we meet in our life journey.

These are moments we see and laugh at ourselves, experience the joy and laughter at how things turn out to be... unexpectantly.

Come into this world of God's blessings

RARE TWIN ROSE

Beautiful, fresh and exotic flowers spread the roadsides and florish in house gardens are common sights in Tasmania. Example is this beautiful hugh rose. Double buds! Geoff being a jungle man was able to spot them from all the rose plants there. This is real beauty.

GEOFF & SUE'S HIDE-AWAY

The Tasmania home owned by Geoff and Sue. They hosted us for 10 days in this comfortable place. It was homely with warm beds, sitting areas and big big big gardens and many fields to run around.
All the houses in this area have unique designs and shapes... why? Because they build their own houses! The main gate to the front door is some 150 metres away running between big fields and sloping forest... lots of gum trees.
Evening time you see Wallabies running around ... looks like tiny Kangaroos. They are fast!
If you wish to stay here and be prepared for lots of hard work daily .... wow! Meals are mostly home cooked. Geoff shared how he salt salted eggs. You don't get them here.

Wow, tough walk up the Wineglass Bay lookout!

NICE PIC -Rest Point

The park management knew some needed rest places along the way and built one like this. This is about halfway up the climb. Where are the rest of them?
No wonder this happen to her. She had slippers instead of shoes!

Tasmania Holiday 30 Nov to 10 Dec 2010

Call it the Wineglass experience. Drunk by the sight.

At the Wineglass Bay lookout point ... one favourite tour point in Tasmania. The leisurely climb up took us 40 minutes, but for some maybe more. Geoff and Susan our enthusiastic guides and hosts, must have climbed and hike these areas again and again.

Must go spot for Tasmanian visitors... fresh wind and nice summer weather for us.

MAKING OF SATAY LEMAK PORK

In the secret kitchen of the professional chinese satay baba man. He cuts the pork into shapes and pound them to pieces, to soften their texture... soft and tender lah. Being very careful to get the other hand out of range.
This is hard work cos your pounding must not be too forceful and not too "lumbek", just right impact boleh.
Some pork managed to escape... they run like mad when the hammer came crashing on them. See where they go...

We thank God for the fine weather at Mandai Zoo last Saturday morning.

The kids were really wonderful. They added fun for us and we felt young... It was a tedious and exciting time rediscovering all the colourful creations of God. Aren't they colourful??? Meaning the birds.
